Towable RVs can be pulled behind a vehicle and unhitched at your site. These are great if you plan to leave your RV while you explore the area.


The first towable RV is the Travel Trailer. These are typically 10ft to 35ft long and have an array of floor plans to choose from. Some models can sleep up to ten people. They provide an affordable option with amenities that are similar to a home. A new model usually ranges between $25,000.00 and $30,000.00.

The second towable RV is the Fifth Wheel, which is similar to a Travel Trailer. They are typically larger in size, ranging from 25ft to 45ft, and must be towed by a pickup truck. The largest model sleeps up to eight people with a spacious floor plan. A new model usually ranges between $43,000.00 and $63,000.00. This is a great option if you plan to RV full-time.

The third towable RV is the Travel Trailer with expandable hard-sided ends. You will find the sleeping quarters in these areas. The largest model sleeps up to eight people. This RV is lighter in weight and easier to tow with a family vehicle. The price on a new model usually ranges between $9,000.00 and $15,000.00.


The fourth towable RV is the Pop-up Camper. The pop-up ends are made of a soft canvas material and are where the sleeping quarters are located. The largest model sleeps up to eight people. This is another lightweight RV. New models usually range between $5,000.00 and $25,000.00.


The fifth towable RV is the Truck Camper. The living quarters are mounted on a truck bed or chassis. The largest model sleeps up to six people. This is a very compact camper and allows you to travel wherever your truck is allowed. You will find new models ranging between $17,000.00 and $26,000.00.


The sixth and last towable RV is the Park Model. This is a movable unit usually found at resorts. Most people will rent these out for recreational use. They have home-like qualities and can sleep up to ten people. New models usually range between $35,000.00 and $85,000.00.


Motorized RVs are drivable units that do not require a vehicle for mobility. You can access your living quarters from the driver's seat. These are great if you plan to RV full-time or if you simply love the luxury they provide.


The first motorized RV is the Class A Motorhome. These have large spacious floor plans and feel the most like a home with high end amenities. The largest model sleeps up to eight people. This is the most expensive type of RV with new models usually ranging between $100,000.00 to $140,000.00. A few models are as expensive as $3,000,000.00.

The second motorized RV is the Class B Motorhome. Most of these look and drive similar to a family van. The largest model can sleep up to four people. They usually range between $95,000.00 and $35,000.00. These make great adventure vans.


The third and last motorized RV is the Class C Motorhome. These have amenities similar to the Class A Motorhome but at a lower price point. They provide an optional sleeping area above the cab. The largest model can sleep up to eight people. New models usually range between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00.

There is one final RV that is available as towable or motorized. This is the Sport Utility RV. This RV provides a built-in garage for traveling with and storing your favorite equipment. The largest model can sleep up to eight people. A new model usually ranges between $30,000.00 and $60,000.00.
